Let’s Anticipate

Let me give you a prediction—when the curtain closes on 2018 we’ll look back and say, “Wow! God did even more than we could have imagined!” That’s quite a prediction Jonathan. I mean, how do YOU know what God has in store for us this year? Great question! The answer is so simple: Anticipation is the open door for the miraculous.

One of my favorite scriptures is 2 Chronicles 16 which says, “For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.” My greatest hope for Bethel Church in 2006 is that God’s eyes find us with hearts that are not only fully committed to him, but hearts that are beaming and bursting with anticipation for the miraculous.

Why not? Why not anticipate for God to use BC to reach countless lost souls this year? Why not anticipate for God to do the miraculous in your home, your finances, your health or with your job? Remember that great verse on faith in Hebrews 11? “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” That’s what “anticipate” is all about—being sure of what we hope for, even though we don’t see it right now. That’s what God’s eyes are scanning for. Is it in you?
